We do not make automated decisions that have legal consequences for you. However, if you consent to advertising cookies, Google places you into advertising audiences based on your visit so that our ads can be shown to you on other websites. We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

Hosting — Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Our website is hosted on AWS infrastructure in the EU (Frankfurt region). AWS acts as a data processor under a Data Processing Agreement. AWS Privacy Policy.

Contact form handling — Amazon Web Services (AWS)

When you submit the demo or contact form, the details you enter are stored in an Amazon DynamoDB database and sent to us by email using Amazon SES. Both run in the EU (Milan region) and neither the storage nor the email delivery leaves the EU. AWS acts as a data processor under a Data Processing Agreement. Analytics — Google Analytics 4

If you consent to analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, to understand how visitors use our website. It processes your IP address, the pages you visit, your approximate location, and technical details about your device and browser. We have IP anonymisation enabled and we do not use Google Analytics to identify you personally. Google acts as a data processor for us under a Data Processing Agreement. Google Privacy Policy.

Advertising — Google Ads

If you consent to advertising cookies, we use Google Ads, provided by Google Ireland Limited, to measure which of our ads bring visitors to this website and to show freshpilot ads to you on other websites you visit afterwards (remarketing). We do not share your personal data with any other third parties unless required by law, and we never sell it.

5. Data Transfers Outside the EU

We aim to keep all personal data within the European Economic Area (EEA). Our website is hosted in the EU. However, Google (Analytics and Ads) may transfer data to servers in the United States. These providers are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and additionally rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), which are the safeguards we rely on for those transfers.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected:

• Contact form submissions: Retained for up to 12 months after your last interaction, then deleted.
• Demo bookings: Retained for up to 12 months after the meeting, then deleted.
• Server logs: Automatically deleted after 90 days.
• Analytics data: Google Analytics event data is retained for 2 months, then automatically deleted by Google.
• Advertising audiences: Google Ads remarketing cookies expire within the periods listed in our Cookie Policy (90 days to 13 months), after which you are no longer in the audience.

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
